Common command mistakes in Minecraft and Discord

ChoiceCraft commands live in two places. Minecraft commands run in the game chat; PigBot commands run in Discord's slash-command picker. A command typed into the wrong application is not forwarded out of pity.

The most common mix-up is linking: /link in Minecraft issues the code, then /link <code> in Discord redeems it.

Which commands run in Discord?

Player-facing PigBot commands in Discord include:

/link <code>, /unlink, and /whoami for account linking. /link is the one command that also works in a direct message to PigBot; the rest need a channel in the ChoiceCraft server;
/status for server availability;
/ask <question> for Wiki help;
/ticket open and /ticket close for private support;
/suggest <your idea> for suggestions;
/level, /levels, /levelrewards, /playtime, and /leaderboard;
/tag show and /tag list for saved answers.

Use Discord's command picker and fill its labelled options. Angle brackets in a Wiki example mean "put your value here," not "type the decorative beaks too."

Which commands run in Minecraft?

Minecraft commands include /link to issue a Discord link code, /server to move between Hub, Survival, and SkyBlock, /help for in-game topics, and gameplay commands such as /shop, /balance, /trade, /spawn, /vote, claims, homes, skills, islands, and licences.

Commands vary by server. A SkyBlock island command does not become available on Survival because you asked it nearer the void. Use /help on the server where you are standing to see its current features.

Why does /ticket not open a ticket?

Ticket not opening? The Discord ticket command requires the open subcommand. If /ticket does not open a ticket, use the complete command /ticket open. Choose a category, enter the topic, and select a server when applicable.

You can have one open ticket at a time. If PigBot points to an existing ticket, continue there. Opening a second support universe is intentionally not among the subcommands. Use /ticket close inside the ticket channel when it is finished.

Why does /link not give me a code in Discord?

The code is issued by /link in Minecraft, where the server has authenticated the Minecraft account. Redeem that code with /link <code> in Discord. Starting only in Discord cannot prove which Minecraft account you control.

Codes last 10 minutes, work once, and are rate-limited. If one expires or was used, run /link in Minecraft again. Use /whoami in Discord to check the result.

Why does a command work on one server but not another?

Hub, Survival, and SkyBlock have different gameplay features. Survival has land claims and skills; SkyBlock has islands, Empire Value, business licences, and island markets. Their money, inventories, homes, and progress are separate.

Run /help on the server where you are playing. Check /server survival or /server skyblock if a command belongs to the other game mode. Commands do not roam the network looking for somewhere they feel understood.

Why can nobody see PigBot's /ask answer?

/ask <question> replies ephemerally, so only the person who ran it sees the answer. That keeps channels from filling with private attempts and automated summaries.

In a channel enabled for public answers, mention PigBot and put the question in the same message. The reply is public there. PigBot does not answer ordinary messages that neither use /ask nor address it directly.

Why is a Discord command missing or refusing me?

Some commands are staff-only, require Discord permissions, depend on a configured feature, or require a linked Minecraft account. Read the private error reply before dismissing it; PigBot often states exactly what is missing and would like its brief literary career acknowledged.

For a player command that remains missing or broken, use /ticket open and include the command name, channel, time, exact reply, and whether /whoami shows a link. Do not repeatedly submit a failing command faster; rate limits are not persuaded by enthusiasm.

Why did PigBot misunderstand my question?

PigBot searches the Wiki by words, retrieves up to four matching excerpts, and asks Claude Haiku to summarize them. Include the specific server, feature, command, or error: "How do I claim land on Survival?" retrieves better material than "why broken".

If an answer is wrong or outdated, ask staff and include the question and answer. The Wiki can then be corrected. Repeating the identical vague question usually retrieves the identical vague neighborhood; the search index is consistent in ways normally associated with furniture.
