Reporting another player to ChoiceCraft staff
Reporting another player to ChoiceCraft staff
Use /ticket open in Discord to report griefing, stolen items, scams, harassment,
suspicious behavior, or another player-related incident. Choose Griefing or
stolen items when it fits; otherwise choose Something else or the closest
available category.
Reports are private support matters. A public accusation produces spectators faster than facts and gives staff a second incident to moderate for free.
How do I report a player?
Run /ticket open, choose the closest category, select the server when relevant,
and describe the incident. Include the reporting player's Minecraft or Discord
name exactly, not only a nickname such as "that Steve skin near spawn."
One detailed ticket is enough. PigBot allows one open ticket per person, so add related evidence and updates to the existing channel rather than opening duplicate reports through friends.
What evidence should I include in a player report?
Include the facts staff can use:
- the Minecraft and Discord names involved;
- Survival, SkyBlock, the Hub, or Discord;
- approximate date, time, and time zone;
- coordinates, island, claim, channel, or message link;
- what you directly saw or received;
- screenshots or video that show relevant context;
- missing items, changed blocks, or agreed trade details.
Separate what you observed from what somebody told you. "I saw" and "my cousin heard" are different evidence types, even when the cousin has an excellent headset.
Should I confront the player or accuse them publicly?
No public confrontation is required to file a report. Preserve the evidence, step away from the situation when safe, and use a private ticket. Avoid threats, retaliation, repeated mentions, or posting private information.
For a griefed area, do not rebuild before staff inspect it. For a suspicious trade, stop sending more items or coins. For a Discord message, save the message link and screenshot before blocking or deleting anything you control.
How do I report griefing or stolen items?
To report a player who griefed you, stole from you, damaged your base, or changed
your claim, use /ticket open, choose Griefing or stolen items, and select the
affected server. Include the location, approximate time, missing items or changed
blocks, owner of the claim or island, and names of anyone involved.
Avoid rebuilding, moving containers, or cleaning the scene first. Staff can work with an untouched area more easily than with a lovingly restored recreation whose only remaining evidence is righteous indignation.
How do I report a scam or dishonest trade?
Open /ticket open with Something else, Griefing or stolen items, or the
closest category. Include both player names, server, time, what each person agreed
to exchange, what was actually delivered, and screenshots or message links.
Do not send more items to prove the other player remains dishonest. The Wiki does not publish a scam penalty or repayment guarantee; staff must investigate the specific report.
How do I report a bug or exploit another player is using?
Use /ticket open under Bug report and explain the behavior privately. Include
the server, time, location, names involved, expected behavior, actual behavior,
and any safe reproduction details.
Do not publish step-by-step exploit instructions or test the bug repeatedly on the live server. A concise private report helps staff fix it; a tutorial gives the bug a marketing department.
Will staff tell me the punishment or outcome?
The player Wiki does not promise that staff will disclose another member's case history, appeal, warning, timeout, kick, ban, or other action. Staff may acknowledge the report or ask follow-up questions without sharing private moderation details.
A lack of public outcome does not prove the report was ignored. Keep the ticket for questions and new evidence rather than starting a public scoreboard of suspected punishments.
What if the report is urgent or still happening?
Preserve the evidence and remove yourself from immediate risk when possible. Stop
trading, leave the affected area, avoid clicking suspicious links, and use
/ticket open with a clear topic saying the incident is ongoing.
The Wiki does not document an emergency response time or special escalation channel. Do not share passwords, financial credentials, home addresses, or other sensitive information to prove urgency. If a situation involves real-world danger, use the appropriate real-world emergency service rather than a Minecraft bot.
