Safe player trading and suspicious deals
Safe player trading and suspicious deals
Use ChoiceCraft's /trade <player> flow for direct item-and-coin exchanges. A
secure trade lets both players inspect and confirm the offers; dropping valuables
on the ground replaces that machinery with optimism, latency, and whoever walks
past first.
Trades, payments, inventories, and money stay on the Minecraft server where they happen. Survival and SkyBlock do not share them.
How do I trade items safely?
Run /trade <player> on the same server as the other player. Put the agreed items
and coins into the trade, inspect their offer, and confirm only when everything is
correct. Changing either offer resets confirmations, so both players must approve
the final version.
Closing the trade window or disconnecting cancels the trade and returns offered items. Use the trade interface instead of throwing items on the ground. The ground has no confirmation screen and notoriously weak customer service.
How do I pay another player coins?
Use /pay <player> <amount> for a coin-only payment. Check the player's name and
amount before confirming the command. For an exchange involving items, use
/trade <player> so both sides can review the complete deal.
Payments are server-specific. Survival coins stay on Survival and SkyBlock coins stay on SkyBlock. A payment cannot cross through the Hub, even when both currencies are described with the highly interoperable word "coins."
Can I transfer a trade between Survival and SkyBlock?
No. Survival and SkyBlock maintain separate items, inventories, balances, homes, skills, and progress. Both players must meet on the server where the trade belongs.
Do not give somebody an item on Survival in exchange for a promise on SkyBlock and assume the secure trade system protects both halves. It can protect only the offer visible in its own window. Cross-server promises are promises, not distributed transactions wearing tiny hard hats.
How do I block unwanted trade requests?
On SkyBlock, /trade block <player> blocks trade requests from a player,
/trade unblock <player> allows them again, and /trade blocklist shows the
players you have blocked.
The player wiki does not document those block commands for every ChoiceCraft
server, so do not promise they exist outside SkyBlock. If somebody is harassing
you or bypassing a block, use /ticket open with the closest category and include
the server, name, and relevant evidence.
I think another player scammed me
Stop sending more items or coins. Open /ticket open, choose Something else,
Griefing or stolen items, or the closest category, and include the server,
player names, approximate time, agreed trade, actual result, screenshots, and
message links.
The player wiki does not publish a scam rule, repayment guarantee, or punishment schedule. Staff must investigate. Keep the report private instead of starting a public accusation campaign; a crowd can produce volume much faster than evidence.
Is a screenshot of a shop price or trade offer still valid?
Not necessarily. Server-shop stock and prices can change during balancing, and a
player can change a proposed trade before confirmation. Use the current /shop,
/market, or trade window as the source for the transaction happening now.
An old screenshot can show what somebody saw earlier, but it does not freeze the economy or force another player to accept a deal. Screenshots preserve pixels, not contractual weather.
Somebody offered items, ranks, or prizes in a direct message
Verify unsolicited deals against official ChoiceCraft channels before clicking a link or sending anything. Do not share passwords, recovery codes, payment-card details, or link codes. A legitimate Minecraft item trade does not need remote access to your computer or the keys to your Discord account.
Report impersonation, suspicious payment links, or alleged staff offers through
/ticket open. Include screenshots and message links after hiding unrelated
private information. Familiar logos are images, not background checks.
