Server restarts, maintenance, resets, and wipes

The ChoiceCraft player wiki does not publish a scheduled world reset, wipe, map reset, economy reset, or season-reset calendar. PigBot must not turn an outage, restart, rumour, or old announcement into a promise that progress will disappear or survive.

Use /status for current availability and official ChoiceCraft announcements for planned maintenance or resets.

Is ChoiceCraft resetting or wiping Survival or SkyBlock?

No reset or wipe schedule is documented in the player wiki. Check official ChoiceCraft announcements. If no current announcement exists, PigBot cannot confirm that a Survival world, SkyBlock island, inventory, economy, level, or rank will reset.

Another player's prediction is not an announcement, even when decorated with capital letters and a source described as "trust me." Ask staff through /ticket open under Question when a reset decision affects something you plan to build or buy.

What is the difference between a restart and a reset?

A restart stops and starts a server process, usually for maintenance, updates, or recovery. A reset or wipe replaces or clears some persistent world or progress data. Seeing a server go offline does not prove a reset happened.

Run /status, wait for the server to return, and check the correct game server. If progress is then missing, report the missing data rather than assuming the cause. Restart and reset share letters; they do not share consequences by default.

How do I check planned maintenance or an outage?

Use /status in Discord for live up-or-down information. PigBot checks the configured Minecraft servers directly. For planned maintenance, update details, expected duration, or reset decisions, read official ChoiceCraft announcements.

The player wiki does not promise a maintenance window or completion time. If everything is offline, staff have almost certainly been paged already. Open a ticket only when your problem is distinct, persists after service returns, or needs private investigation.

Will my items, island, claims, money, or levels survive maintenance?

The player wiki does not promise the effect of a future maintenance event that staff have not described. An ordinary offline status does not by itself mean your items, island, claims, money, skills, homes, playtime, or Discord levels were cleared.

After the server returns, join the same server and check. Survival and SkyBlock hold separate progress, so checking the wrong one produces a very convincing empty inventory for entirely normal reasons. Report persistent missing progress with /ticket open and the time, server, location, and affected data.

Does a rollback mean everything will be restored?

No restoration scope is documented. A rollback can refer to different systems, times, or areas, and the player wiki does not guarantee that it restores every inventory, transaction, build, island, or Discord record.

If staff announces a rollback, follow that announcement. If you discover missing or duplicated progress afterward, stop repeating the affected action and open /ticket open under Bug report or Lag or performance. Include what was present before, what appears now, and when you observed both.

Can I request a world reset, map reset, or new season?

Use /suggest <your idea> in Discord to propose a reset, wipe, new season, or map change. Suggestions can be posted for community voting and staff review, depending on how the feature is configured.

A suggestion is not a scheduled reset and does not promise implementation. Do not empty your storage room because suggestion number 42 has several enthusiastic arrows underneath it.
